Dear John,

You may know me from my role as Stewy on HBO's Succession—but what you may not know is that I'm a proud Iranian American and the co-Founder of Waterwell, a theater and education company that is dedicated to using art and culture as a platform for civic engagement and empathy. That is why I jumped at the chance to join NIAC's staff and fellow supporters in a video celebrating the culture that binds us.

I'm proud to be one of the thousands of Iranian Americans who support NIAC. I'm writing to ask that you join me by making a contribution today so that NIAC can continue the critical work they do for our community.

Support NIAC.
Donate Today!

Love of our culture affords us the common ground we need to ensure Iranian Americans are represented at all levels of civic life—and backed by your generosity, NIAC has been at the forefront of this effort for nearly two decades.

Your investment in NIAC today is an investment in our community's future.

Your support ensures that NIAC's rising leaders have the resources needed to champion our community's priorities in Washington DC, whether it is registering Iranian Americans to vote, taking on big banks that shut our accounts because of our heritage, or fighting policies that divide us from our loved ones in Iran.

You can ensure that NIAC can continue to build the civic power we need to navigate a worrisome political theater that has unfairly vilified the Iranian-American community, forced us to confront systematic discrimination, and threatened our civil rights.

Will you support NIAC, just as they have our community for nearly two decades?

NIAC is our best hope for securing the Iranian-American community a permanent seat at the table. As the poet Rumi notably said, there is a community of the spirit for all of us to join. Today, I invite you to join this community, and delight in knowing that your support of NIAC will benefit Iranian Americans for years to come.

Warm Regards,

Arian Moayed
Co-Founder Waterwell / Writer, Director, Actor
