* Planned Parenthood is being defunded across the nation. They admitted they'd rather not accept government funding than comply with a new federal rule that requires no federal tax dollars (your tax dollars!) go to any entity that refers or performs abortions.
* Heartbeat legislation-laws that prohibit abortion at about six weeks of pregnancy, when a fetal heartbeat can be detected-has passed in nine state legislatures. Many more are considering ways to vastly limit abortion procedures.
* Conservative judges are being appointed and confirmed to districts across the country, including two conservative Supreme Court justices. Many court watchers think there could be two to three more vacancies in the next four years.
