Presently, efforts are now underway to reopen New York’s economy. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the unemployment rate for Kings County is steadily decreasing. Consequently, this drop in unemployment has fostered a steady growth in job creation within the district. Considering these developments, Congressmembers Yvette D. Clarke, Hakeem Jeffries, and Nydia Velazquez have joined forces to co-host our Brooklyn Congressional Career Fair. This event will be held on Saturday, September 17, from 10 am to 2 p.m. at the New York City College of Technology (CUNY) 285 Jay St, Brooklyn, NY 11201.
