Mike Pompeo revealed that he’s planning to run for President.

Pompeo’s announcement is proof that Trump’s blood is in the water. Now the sharks he’s surrounded himself with can smell it and they want that MAGA crown for themselves.

The GOP might try to sell Pompeo as a respectable form of MAGA conservatism, but there’s not one policy where Pompeo is different than Trump! SAME CRAP, DIFFERENT FASCIST. 

Pompeo is just like Trump and any other MAGA con they might nominate.

If any MAGA con wins in 2024 we know they will:

• Disenfranchise voters and destroy our democracy from within

• Stop at nothing to end reproductive rights

• Make the ultrarich wealthier on the backs of the middle class

• Rollback recent successes that actually help the middle class, like infrastructure investment and student loan forgiveness

• Do nothing to address the worsening climate crisis

• Prevent regulations to keep our air and water clean

• Weaken our alliances and strengthen our enemies

• Discriminate against our LGBTQ friends and family

Another way Pompeo is like Trump is that he has ZERO respect for public service. During his tenure as Secretary of State, he hosted two dozen dinners for donors on state property. – COSTING TAX PAYER’S AT LEAST $65,000. 

The State Department exposed that Pompeo AND HIS WIFE had government employees run private errands. They made more than 100 requests ranging from shopping trips to dog care.

Pompeo even instructed employees to refuse to comply with an investigation into why an Inspector General was fired. Sound familiar? 

Same obstruction, different Republican.

None of this has even touched on Pompeo’s actual record as Secretary of State:

• Enabled Trump’s kowtowing to North Korea!
  …Remember Trump saying he “fell in love” with Kim Jong-Un!?

• Weakened our security ties with Ukraine by enabling Trump’s shadow foreign policy in Ukraine! 

• Aided Saudi Arabia in its war crimes against Yemen!

• Refused the CIA’s assessment of Mohammad Bin Salman’s slaughter and dismemberment of journalist Jamal Khashoggi!

By the time Trump and Pompeo were done, North Korea had more nukes, Iran’s nuclear capabilities were increasing, and Russia was primed and ready to invade Ukraine. 

Maybe The Worst Secretary of State in history wants to see if he can take the title of Worst President from his buddy, but I’m not ready to find out.

If we’re going to put an end to the MAGA con agenda we need to start winning big in areas that too often get written off as “red districts and states.” 

No Dem Left Behind does that by promoting the best Democrats have to offer with effective messaging strategies and voter mobilization.

The only way we take back America’s heartland is if we actually try!

We’re ready to get to work, but we can’t do it alone…
