[1]Cheri Beasley for North Carolina

Sorry to reach out again to ask for your support, but Cheri really needs your help today. But before we ask, will you please give us 90 seconds to explain why your $3 is so important?

We are running the kind of campaign that it takes to flip a Senate seat. It’s a campaign that can organize and speak to the hopes and needs of voters from the mountains to the coast, rural and urban alike.

And so far, it’s working. Despite super PACs swooping in with millions of dollars worth of attack ads since Cheri became our nominee, the polls show us neck and neck with our opponent.

But it takes an enormous amount of resources to run this kind of campaign in a state as large and diverse as North Carolina. Every dollar donated, every voter registered, and every door knocked will matter when the votes are counted.

Honestly, we wish the money that we already raised would be enough, but with the data showing this will be one of the closest races in the entire country, it means it’s also going to be one of the most expensive.

Unlike our opponent, Cheri’s not taking a dime of corporate PAC money, and we’re not banking on super PACs buying this seat either. Instead, we are counting on people like you to power this fight. So please:

Knowing how important grassroots donations are, will you pitch in any amount you can to help Cheri win? We’ve set an ambitious goal for tomorrow at midnight, the halfway point for the FEC deadline.

Look, we don’t expect folks to give every time we ask. What we are counting on is that folks like you will donate when it makes sense for your budget.

So thank you for hearing us out and pitching in when you can!
