Last night, my friend Senator Maggie Hassan officially got her Republican opponent, Trump sycophant Don Bolduc, and today, she needs us to have her back.

Your support couldn’t come at a more important moment. Yesterday, Senate Republicans introduced federal abortion ban legislation, and Maggie’s opponent would be a rubber stamp for whatever extreme bills Mitch McConnell puts on the floor — including a total abortion ban without any exceptions.

Not only does Maggie need our help to start her general election strong, but this is our chance to send a powerful message that we will not allow Republican politicians to roll back abortion rights.

If you can, please split a $5 donation between Maggie Hassan’s re-election and my efforts to defend the Senate majority. There’s an FEC deadline right around the corner, so this is important.

Look, this is an extremely quick general election sprint. She has just a few weeks to make sure voters know the truth about her opponent and understand the stakes at the ballot box in November.

We know her opponent will not lack resources. He supports Trump’s bizarre election conspiracies, and thus he’s already backed by tens of millions of dollars from Trump super PACs who are willing to spend limitless sums on dark money attack ads to defeat Maggie.

In 2016, she won her race in New Hampshire by just 1,017 votes. Take that in for a moment. If she hadn’t won that race, Senate Republicans could put an abortion ban on the floor for a vote today.

And the truth is there’s virtually no path to keeping the majority without Maggie. So she needs our movement to have her back — especially right now as she starts her general election with barely two weeks until the FEC deadline.

We are all better off because of her leadership and work in Congress, and now it’s our turn to have her back and make sure she wins re-election.
