Donald Trump went to Michigan last night and held a rally in the face of the House's historic impeachment vote. His speech was as vile as usual, this time suggesting that the late Congressman John Dingell was likely in hell.

Trump made Michigan his first stop after being impeached because he knows that his re-election, and his continued Republican majority in the Senate, runs straight through Michigan. And he is willing to do what it takes and raise all the money it takes to win there.

That's why my friend, Michigan Senator Gary Peters, is facing one of the toughest re-elections in the country, and it will take all of us doing our part to help hold his seat.
