There is no one better to represent the people of Florida (and no one better to tell you why than me!) 😊
My wife is the first openly queer Black woman to be elected in Florida at any level. They understand the toll that discriminatory and hateful legislation takes on LGBTQ+ folks on a personal level.
She has always stood up against Ron DeSantis and his hateful crew, and she will continue to stand up to anyone who suggests, through word or legislation, that we deserve less rights for loving who we love.
Michele has always strived to create a more equitable and just Florida that is representative of everybody, not just the folks at the top. Because that’s what #RunningWithRayner is about — running for everyone, and running with everyone.
It is so important to elect leaders with integrity — and as someone who knows Michele best, I can say wholeheartedly that they are our only option in this race.
