Update: CDPH Rescinds Testing Requirements for School and Healthcare workers

CDPH Rescinds
Vaccination or Test Requirement for School Workers
and Testing for Healthcare Workers!

Yesterday, September 13, 2022, the California Department of Health announced the testing requirements for healthcare and school workers would be rescinded, effective September 17, 2022, in line with the revised CDC testing guidelines.  Workers in schools, including teachers, staff and volunteers, will no longer be required to vaccinate or test for COVID-19.  Healthcare workers are still required to be vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19 per the CDC recommendations, unless exempt for religious or medical reasons.  Those who are unvaccinated and exempt will no longer need to test.
