John, Sen. Lindsey Graham is set to introduce a nationwide ban on abortion after 15 weeks in the Senate.

I will vote no. Always.

We expected this given the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade. So as we watch the news unfold, here's where I stand: Now is the time to reject Mr. Graham’s dangerous ban and instead pass a law to protect women and the right to abortion – once and for all.

People like my anti-choice opponent, and his extremist allies, want to take personal freedoms and decisions out of the hands of individuals and their doctors and put them into those of politicians.

I've spent my time in Congress advocating for all families, making sure they have equal opportunities and the fundamental right to make their own health decisions. And in my town halls, I have had the privilege of talking and connecting with voters as they share their thoughts and concerns with me. I promise to continue fighting to protect our fundamental rights and freedoms when I'm reelected.
