Just when we thought the Republican Party couldn’t stoop any lower, Sen. Lindsay Graham just announced legislation for a nationwide abortion ban.

This action would further curtail the rights of women across our country and add to the harm that the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade has already done. This is downright wrong and Sen. Graham ought to be ashamed of himself.

But JOHN, Graham’s bill makes the Republican Party’s official stance on reproductive rights absolutely clear. Since Roe was overturned, Republicans in Congress have parroted the same talking point that they’d leave it up to the states to decide. This was a blatant lie.

The issue of reproductive rights is personal to every woman in our country. And I’ve said it before – the government has no place infringing on the rights of women to make decisions about their own reproductive health, full stop.

And the fact of the matter is that protecting the rights of our fellow Americans shouldn’t be this difficult. My promise to people all across NY-11 is that I’ll always be in this fight. And if we want to stop Lindsey Graham and his band of anti-choice allies from jamming a national abortion ban through Congress, we need to keep the House Democratic majority.

And to do that, we need to first defeat our Republican opponent here in NY-11 and hold the House. I’d be honored if you chipped in to make it happen. [[link removed]]
