A Freedom Center campaign targets Jew-haters on college campuses
------------------------------------------------------------
A widespread and pervasive epidemic of Jew hatred has overtaken our nation’s colleges and universities.
From small liberal arts campuses to preeminent state universities, Jewish students and advocates for the state of Israel on campus report experiencing threats, intimidation, and outright hostility from university departments, individual faculty members, and especially Hamas-linked, anti-Zionist groups such as Students for Justice in Palestine and the Muslim Students Association. Where resolutions endorsing the Hamas-funded Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement against Israel, a genocidal effort to isolate and weaken the world’s only Jewish state, were once rare, over a hundred campuses have now debated such resolutions and several dozen have passed them.
To combat this onslaught of anti-Semitism, the Freedom Center worked with center-right student organizations, such as the College Republicans, Turning Point USA, Students Supporting Israel, and the Young America's Foundation, on our targeted campuses to have them distribute our Jew Hatred newspapers that were designed to look like the official campus publications. The newspapers highlighted the egregious attacks that have taken place against Jewish students and supporters of Israel on each specific campus.
For our Spring campaign, a poster was inserted in the center of each newspaper highlighting the connection between BDS and Hitler's 'final solution' to the problem of Jews in Germany. During our Fall campaign, posters featuring Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib were distributed with the newspapers. The posters highlighted their hatred of Israel and their ability as Members of Congress to finish the work that Hitler started.
In the spring, we distributed newspapers at the University of California Los Angeles, University of California Santa Cruz, University of Minnesota, and the University of Nevada Reno. In the fall, newspapers were distributed at the University of Minnesota, DePaul University, Wayne State University, University of South Florida, University of California Los Angeles, Pitzer College, and the University of California Irvine. Approximately 2,000 newspapers were distributed on each of these campuses. The remaining universities that didn't receive newspapers received a press release saying they made the list of the Top 10 Colleges that Promote Jew Hatred and Incite Terrorism.
We compiled extensive lists of contact information for every student newspaper editor, reporter, writer, and advisor and sent out a press release about our reports. We also sent press releases to the university presidents and board of regent members. This extensive media outreach yielded significant press coverage in local and national media, thereby magnifying our efforts to expose and condemn the Jew haters on American college campuses.
