PORTLAND -- The Thelander for Congress campaign will hold a press conference at Portland City Hall on Thursday, September 15, at 11:00 am.

Thelander Calls on Pingree to Support Law Enforcement as Crime Spree Rattles Portland

"According to Portland Police Department data, officers have responded to nearly 50 shootings so far this year. By September of last year, there had been 13 shooting incidents. Much of the blame for this rise in crime can be traced to the policies pushed by Representative Chellie Pingree and her progressive colleagues in Washington."

Ed Thelander is a 21-year Navy SEAL veteran running for Congress. Volunteer firefighter, reserve deputy sheriff, private pilot and small business owner, Ed resides in Bristol with his wife Lilliana and three children.
