Celebrating 15 Years of Domestic Worker Organizing

We are just three days away from our 15th Anniversary Celebration and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. This milestone is a great opportunity to bring our community together and to remind us that, together, we will continue to build power for the future. 

Fifteen years after we first began organizing nannies on New York City playgrounds, NDWA is not only one of the largest membership-based alliances of women of color in the country, we have also won groundbreaking local, state, and federal policy victories that are creating the caring future we all desire and deserve.

There is much work ahead of us, but we are taking this moment to pause, reflect and celebrate all that our worker leaders — and supporters like you — have been able to accomplish.

But, we are still SHORT on the $10,000 goal that'll get us every penny of a matching gift. Will you help us get there by making a donation today? 

"The Future is Us” Fund will allow us to make critical investments in domestic worker leadership and in our work to support home care workers, nannies, and housecleaners. Thanks to a generous donor, every dollar donated by September 15 will be matched up to $10,000.

We are gathering care experiences to share as we celebrate this milestone in our movement. By sharing your care experience, you will remind event attendees why we do this work, and help everyone understand just how important caregiving is to our society.
