Last week, our team learned that Rand Paul is spending over a half a
million dollars to launch TV ads across the Commonwealth. So while he was
ignoring Kentuckians after the floods and spreading dangerous lies, Rand
was collecting six-figure checks from corporations, lobbyists, and other
dark money sources to fund his own ads and line his pockets.
Rand will spare no expense in order to attack Charles at every turn in a
desperate attempt to cling to power. Rand and his mega-donors are scared
because they realize a historic grassroots movement is rising up in
Kentucky to transform our future.
So this month, we’re answering Rand’s dark money donations with a wave of
grassroots fundraising. Because we know that if regular folks come
together, Wall Street executives, Big Pharma, and Rand Paul won’t stand a
chance.

raise another $35,000 to fund our operating budget through September. We

During the past 12 years, Kentucky has been abandoned in the United States
Senate. Our costs have increased, our citizens have suffered, and our
wages have remained stagnant. We need bold leadership for the people of
Kentucky and America, and once he’s elected on November 8th, that's
exactly what Charles will fight for as our next US Senator.
Our people-powered movement has supporters from all across the country and
within Kentucky, who prove that we’ve known every step of the way —
Kentuckians are hungry for change.
We have a real chance to defeat Rand Paul this election, and send Charles
to the U.S. Senate to represent Kentucky. But if we want to do that, it’s
going to take all of us working together and chipping in what we can to
catch up to Rand’s war chest and truly compete.
