Last night, the news broke: Senator Lindsey Graham is leading the Republican charge for a national abortion ban.

Here’s what Susan Collins has had to say about this latest attack on reproductive rights: nothing. Her go-to strategy for protecting Mainers seems to be running away – just like when she skipped out on events after the conservative-led Supreme Court overturned Roe.

Let’s not forget why we’re here in the first place: Collins’s deciding vote to put Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court. Mainers begged her to look at the facts and vote against him, but she put her personal interests first.

Even when rumors that Roe was at risk started circulating, Collins still refused to vote for the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would have codified federal protections for abortion rights.
