Suppose President Obama had asked foreign leaders to interfere in our
elections, obstructed federal investigations, and bragged about it on
national television. The GOP would be howling for his head.

Yet instead of holding Donald Trump accountable for his abuse, Mitch
McConnell is conspiring with the President—and Cory Gardner will
undoubtedly vote to acquit him.

The House fulfilled its Constitutional duty last night just as surely as
the Senate will not. If there’s one thing this impeachment process has
taught us, it is this: we need leaders willing to stand up to their own
party when their conscience demands it.

I’m doing that right now—by running.
