Last week, Attorney General Jason Miyares announced the creation of an Election Integrity Unit.
This is just the latest example of Trumpian regressive politics based on conspiracy and division being implemented by this administration.
Miyares seeks nothing more than to institutionalize the suppression of voter rights for people of color, the elderly, disabled residents and more. His work in the General Assembly speaks volumes on his commitment to voter suppression.
Let us not be fooled. Our election process is safe, secure, and reliable. There was no ‘Big Steal’ or election fraud. And we don’t need some politically motivated policing unit to stop it.
