Last Chance to Register!   The Next Frontier: Comprehensive Sex Education in the Post-Roe Era A Roundtable Discussion on Wednesday, September 14th at 4PM ET Register now. This webinar will ask the question: "What's next for the anti-abortion movement in this post-Roe moment?" with a focus on the ongoing anti-comprehensive sex ed movement, its overlap with the antiabortion and anti-trans/anti-LGBTQ movements, and, finally, with a nod to the implications for reproductive justice in public education in light of the recent SCOTUS decisions undermining the separation of church and state. Featuring: Amy Littlefield: Amy Littlefield is the abortion access correspondent for The Nation. She has reported on reproductive health care for more than a decade for outlets including The New York Times, The New Republic, Mother Jones, Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting, and many more. Jaclyn Friedman: Jaclyn Friedman is a writer, educator and activist, and the founder and Executive Director of EducateUS: SIECUS In Action, a brand-new advocacy organization working to build a national movement of sex ed voters. She is the creator of four books, including Yes Means Yes: Visions of Female Sexual Power and a World Without Rape and her latest, Believe Me: How Trusting Women Can Change the World. Cecilia Espinoza Palacios: Nicaraguan feminist and social worker with an MA in Gender and Development. For nearly two decades, Cecilia has worked as an advocate and technical advisor for sexual and reproductive health, rights and justice at a national, regional, and global level. Currently, Cecilia works as an Associate Director of Access at Ipas, focused in climate justice and adolescents and youth sexual and reproductive health and rights, including comprehensive sexuality education. Prior to joining Ipas, Cecilia served in different technical positions at the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM), the United Nations Develop Program (UNDP), Oxfam, and Ipas Central America.
