Prayers for Her Majesty The Queen

Dear John,

Everyone at CAFOD continues to hold the Queen and her family in our prayers.

The Queen dedicated her life to public service, championing many causes to help the most vulnerable people during her long reign.

This includes personally supporting the Disasters Emergency Committee's (DEC) East Africa Crisis Appeal in 2017, which many supporters like you helped with.

Many of us will want to remember the Queen and her loved ones in our prayers at this difficult time.

Pakistan Floods Appeal

Pakistan has been devastated by exceptionally heavy monsoon rains and flash flooding.

Over 30 million people have been affected by the flood and 10 million people made homeless. They have lost their homes, cattle, and livelihoods. Families are in urgent need of safe drinking water, food, emergency medical assistance and shelter.

The local Pakistani organisation we work with is already responding in the worst-hit areas.
