I've had enough.

My opponent, John Sarbanes claims to support women and minorities, but when I, a Hispanic woman challenge him, he stays silent. He ignored a televised debate invitation from Fox 45, a live forum with WYPR, a forum hosted by the Chinese American Parents Association, and numerous other community forums.

I am tired of the hypocrisy and lip service from my opponent. Rather than treat me as an equal, he has chosen to try to silence me. 

I'm not having it. As constituents, we deserve to hear from those who are asking for our vote. As women, we deserve to be treated as equals. He is choosing to play political games rather than put people first.

Tomorrow, September 14, I am having a press conference at 11:00 am to call out John Sarbanes' hypocrisy, and to call for 3 debates - one in each county of the new 3rd district. I am also asking my fellow women to join me at the press conference. 

My generation owes a lot to the people who fought to get us a seat at the table, but we still have work to do. Having a seat at the table is useless if our voices are still silenced.
