The results of the primary are in, and I am honored to be your Democratic nominee for Rhode Island's 2nd District.

To every person who has chipped in, volunteered, or voted in support of our campaign today – we are so grateful for your support and trust. You are the reason we won this primary today, and the reason why we will keep RI-02 blue this November.

As we begin the general election, our work is just getting started. Election experts are calling this race a "toss up," which is why Republicans have made flipping this seat one of their top priorities. The attacks against me have already started, and with the primary behind us, more are on the way.

I'm ready to go to Congress to fight for every Rhode Islander. Together, we fight for reproductive rights, protect Social Security and Medicare, lower the costs of prescription drugs, defend voting rights, and so much more. But I can't win this tough race without your continued support.
