The polls have closed and my friend, Maggie Hassan, is now officially the Democratic Nominee for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire. The 55-day countdown to defend this Democratic seat against Maggie’s Republican opponent begins tonight!

Maggie and I entered the Senate together in 2016 and it has been an honor and a pleasure to work with her over the past 6 years on a range of critical issues facing our country and our democracy. Now, with the primary behind her, Maggie and her team are looking to gather support for the fight ahead.

We can not afford to take anything for granted in New Hampshire. Maggie won her 2016 Senate campaign by a slim margin of just 1,017 votes.
