Today Senator Lindsay Graham introduced legislation that would provide for a nationwide abortion ban after 15 weeks. We know that the Nebraska Legislature is planning a similar if not more restrictive ban next session that we narrowly defeated.
When I am elected, no woman or their doctor will have to fear for their health, freedom or livelihood in Lancaster County simply for receiving or providing reproductive medical care.
My number one priority will be protecting your safety and that of the community, and this pledge is consistent with that priority. This is in stark contrast to my opponent and his statements in response to mine.
