Our country needs a number of things right now, but of the utmost importance is ENERGY INDEPENDENCE.

Think back to where we were as a country just two years ago. Here in Texas - the energy capital of America - the price of gasoline was as low as $1.50/gallon in some areas. We weren’t dependent on other countries for our oil and gas needs, and we were the envy of the world.

Now, look at us.

Because of the Democrats’ radical climate change agenda, we threw it all away, and now we are all suffering for it.

Make no mistake: the blame falls entirely on Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi. They are the ones letting this happen and they are the ones who could easily fix it. But because of their allegiance to their extreme base, nothing will change.

As Republicans we know what it takes for our economy to be successful, and we know that oil and gas are the pinnacle of that success.
