TAKE ACTION: The election is just around the corner. Sign up as an Election Protection volunteer today >>
John, did you know we’re just one month away from the start of early voting in some states?
That’s right: the general election is coming up fast, so we’re already at work training more volunteers in our Election Protection 2022 campaign to Protect the Vote. Building off our successes in the primaries — where volunteers assisted thousands of voters across dozens of states — we’re scaling up further to meet the needs of the general.
Why? Because according to our projections, this year will see one of the highest turnouts in a modern midterm election — meaning millions of voters encountering harsh new anti-voter laws for the first time.
That’s why we’re calling for “all hands on deck” to assist voters this Fall. We’ll provide all the training and resources you need to assist voters, and there’s a supportive community of fellow volunteers that’ll have your back the whole way.
There’s a role for everyone, whether it’s fighting disinformation from home or taking a shift in-person at the polls. Sign up today >>
Nonpartisan Election Protection volunteers like you will be an important resource for voters as they face restrictive election laws, changes to polling locations or procedures, or anything else that could silence their voices. No matter where you live, voters in your community face obstacles to the ballot and need your help.
Every state is finalizing their trainings for the latest election law changes, so by signing up today you’ll be ready when it rolls out. And because disinformation doesn’t start on election day, we’re already offering training on how to monitor social media — with the opportunity to start protecting voters right away.
You’ve heard for months about the challenges that voters will face when casting their ballots this year. You can be a part of the solution by volunteering as an Election Protection volunteer today >>
Thanks for all you do,
