This is monstrous: Lindsey Graham just introduced a bill in the Senate
that would enact a 15-week national abortion ban. 

For months, Republicans have been avoiding the issue of abortion: they
tried scrubbing their campaign websites, lying about their records, and
(literally) running away from voters who ask too many questions. They know
their position is unpopular, so now they’re trying to pivot and claim that
this latest attack on bodily autonomy is aimed at “late term abortions.” 

It’s bullshit. We already know the majority of Americans oppose abortion
bans -- now, before voters begin to cast their ballots in just a few
weeks, it’s up to us to make sure everyone knows the stakes.

To be clear, this bill has zero chance of passing in the current
Congress -- but if they can flip just a few seats in Congress this
November, they will have enough votes to pass it. And if the MAGA GOP
takes back the majority, they’ve already declared this draconian ban will
be at the top of their agenda: In a televised press briefing, Lindsey
Graham just went on record saying if Republicans take over Congress, they
will vote on a national abortion ban.

Republicans have shown us who they are and what the future will be like if
they regain control this November. They think they can satisfy the
minority of Americans who make up their base while convincing the rest of
us that their agenda isn’t too extreme. It won’t work. 

Between now and November, we must brand the GOP with their own extremism
and we remind voters that MAGA Republicans will not stop attacking our
rights. 

Early voting in some states begins in just a few days, and we’re not
leaving anything to chance. With your help, we’re going to run this and
other hard-hitting ads in key swing districts across the country -- as
well as ramp up all of our voter contact work including phonebanking,
textbanking, canvassing and letter-writing to reach voters who need to
know what a MAGA GOP future will really look like.
