Right on cue, Senate Republicans are showing us what the GOP will do if they gain control of Congress in November – they’ll pass a nationwide abortion ban.
 
 
 
Right now, millions of people in Georgia and other states with Draconian abortion laws have to travel to other states in order to access reproductive health care. That’s unconscionable, and it’s causing irreparable harm to people’s lives, especially to people of color and lower-income folks.
 
But Republicans aren’t satisfied with the damage they’ve already caused. Today Sen. Lindsey Graham introduced a nationwide abortion ban in the U.S. Senate.
 
I’m fighting to reform the Supreme Court so that we can secure the rights of Americans everywhere. But RIGHT NOW we have to make absolutely sure that Republicans don’t win control of the House or Senate in November, or they’ll try to impose their ideological agenda on the entire nation.
