The Washington Post sat down with Pramila to discuss a harrowing incident
at her home this past July. On a Saturday night, a man with a gun showed
up outside Pramila’s home shouting aggressive, racist and sexist
obscenities at the Congresswoman.

It was an especially scary incident after the events of January 6, 2021,
when Pramila was trapped on the balcony of the House gallery as rioters
stormed into the Capitol building.
