Happy Primary Day! Whether you’re in New Castle, Kent, or Sussex County, folks from all over are heading out to cast their ballots and make their voices heard in the lead-up to November’s monumental elections.
This year’s election could have life-changing consequences, and we are grateful to see so many voters doing their part to ensure democracy and people-focused leadership prevail. But our hard work can’t stop here.
Beyond today’s critical primary, we have to make sure that we have resources on hand to connect with voters and maintain our momentum going into November. Just a few hours ago, Senator Lindsey Graham proposed a federal abortion ban, a gross attack on our right to choose. Their intentions are already crystal clear, and if we don’t give this moment everything we have, they’ll do serious damage.
November will be a huge test of Democrats' strength at every level of our government, and we cannot afford to fail. All of the strides we’ve made to level the playing field for our citizens and ensure their quality of life are on the line in November, so we need to give it our absolute best effort.
