John, this is critical: Sen. Lindsey Graham JUST introduced a bill that would ban abortion nationwide.

You have my word that I'll fight tooth and nail to stop this legislation. And right now – with 50 Democratic senators and President Biden in the White House, we have the votes to stop it.

But, unfortunately, this is far from the end. Until we codify abortion access and reverse the terrible ruling by the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, reproductive rights will be on the ballot in every single election. Our path forward is clear: We must defend our Senate majority and protect abortion access – wherever and however we can.

This legislation is an enormous threat to the rights of more than half the people in our country to make decisions about their own bodies, participate fully in the workplace, and choose how they want to live. But make no mistake: The extremists pushing this legislation do not speak for this country. The vast majority of Americans, including myself, support Roe v. Wade and the reproductive rights it provided. The ultra-conservative members of the Supreme Court and their allies in the Senate are woefully out of step with the American public, and we must remind them who they answer to.

I believe that, at the end of the day, we will win. The majority of people support us and history is on our side. But these victories simply cannot happen without bold, united action.
