I've had my work cut out for me defending our rights in the Judiciary and Rules Committees. During my time in Congress, I have spoken out on the Floor, opposed numerous anti-gun bills, and served as a leader on the issue of gun rights.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation awarded me an A+ rating for my efforts to defend our right to bear arms against attacks from the radical Left.
I am proud to be recognized for my active role in defending our Second Amendment rights. I’ve vehemently opposed the Democrats' ridiculous “assault weapons” ban on the House Floor while co-sponsoring legislation prohibiting a federal gun database.
