We wanted to share Rani’s story with you, because it’s such a tender moment for the PAWS Chicago community. Rani’s a special needs black lab mix described by all three of her foster parents as “the perfect dog.” She’s obedient, snuggly, sweet, calm, playful, smiley, loyal. She is the definition of a good dog.
 
So, why was Rani with us for so long? She has congenital deformities that make her incontinent, so she has to wear a diaper—and that can make finding the right family harder. Rani’s had dark times, but 2019 ended well for her, and 2020’s going to be even better.
