John, Lindsey Graham and Senate Republicans are introducing an extreme 15-week national abortion ban in the Senate today.

In June, the Supreme Court upheld Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban, which directly violated Roe v. Wade, and ended the constitutional right to choose after nearly 50 years.

Now Republicans want to take this extreme abortion ban legislation nationwide.

John, a slim 50-50 Senate majority with the filibuster intact and a right-wing Supreme Court majority just isn’t cutting it. Republicans are continuing their efforts to roll back our rights at the state and federal level. They believe that the government should control women’s bodies and personal reproductive freedom. They’re dead wrong. We need to make sure they pay the price at the polls this fall.

We need to expand our Senate majority so we can abolish the filibuster, expand the Court, and codify Roe v. Wade nationwide.
