Medicare for All is about protecting and caring for the most vulnerable among us.
Friend,
Responding to the global pandemic, Americans mobilized and offered life-saving, free healthcare, including public testing, vaccines, and treatments. According to the Center for Disease Control, almost 263 million people received at least one dose of the COVID vaccine and incurred absolutely no cost.
Universal healthcare is not only popular, but it’s an effective and essential way to fulfill the American promise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Will you join me and urge Congress to pass Medicare for All and make quality healthcare accessible to everyone in the United States?
The biggest barrier to healthcare is the price tag. In 2022, 41% of adults hold some outstanding medical debt, and that burden is stifling our economy. Medicare For All will eliminate the all-too-high cost barrier and allow access to previously neglected communities, like young adults, low-income families, and patients with pre-existing conditions.
Uncoupling work and health care will free people from being locked into a job solely for the health benefits. And by reducing one of the biggest administrative expenses for small businesses, it will help inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs and invigorate local economies.
Medicare for All is about protecting and caring for the most vulnerable among us. And it’s about unlocking the American dream for every American regardless of race, gender, ability, or income.
Sign if you agree: It’s time to pass Medicare for All.
In solidarity,
Ro
