Senate Republicans just introduced an extreme bill to ban abortions at 15 weeks — and I am furious. The vast majority of Americans support safe and legal access to abortion care. But Republicans couldn’t care less — they are hyper-focused on catering to their right-wing radical base. Overturning Roe v. Wade didn’t go far enough for them. They want to dismantle a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions at the federal level, too. I won’t let Senate Republicans further erode the fundamental rights to an abortion and to privacy. I will block every effort to pass this new nationwide abortion ban.
