Happy Chuseok, John!
This weekend, Korean Americans and Koreans around the world observed Chuseok, commonly known in the United States as “Korean Thanksgiving.” On this holiday we join together to honor our ancestors, show our gratitude, and give thanks for all we have.
As always, I am grateful to represent the South Sound in Congress – where I am one of just two Korean American Democrats (It’s just me and my colleague Andy Kim in New Jersey!).
Andy and I are working together in Congress to do the same for families in our districts, and we need your support. Will you split a contribution between our campaigns before the upcoming fundraising deadline? [[link removed]]

Like me, Congressman Kim represents the district he grew up in. Although we are from opposite sides of the country, we share many of the same experiences as the children of immigrants in America.
We both had access to education and economic opportunities that our parents never had – and we both had to overcome discrimination and racism to achieve the American Dream.
Together, Andy and I are working hard to ensure that families from the South Sound to South Jersey have access to affordable housing and healthcare, quality education and an economy that works for all of us.
I’m proud to serve in the most diverse Congress in U.S. history. We truly reflect the communities we serve and we’re building a better future for all American families.
Please help keep us fighting by splitting a contribution between our campaigns today! [[link removed]]
