It’s called “Results.” Here’s why.

I have big news today, so I wanted to drop you a note.

Today, we're less than two months away from the general election.

Thanks to our supporters, today I'm excited to announce that we're releasing our first ad of the General Election. It's called "Results." Here's why.

Eight years ago, I ran a campaign promising that if I was elected as your Attorney General, I would stand up to powerful interests. I promised to deliver results, serving as the People's Lawyer. So when I got elected, that's what I did.

We sued ExxonMobil for their lies about the climate crisis. We took on utility companies to reduce energy prices for families. And we were the first AG's office in the country to take on Purdue Pharma and the Sacklers for fueling the opioid epidemic.

Massachusetts can't afford a governor who will put politics over people. We need results.

That's what I want to do. Here's my plan.

As governor, we'll cut the costs of housing, energy, and child care. And we'll cut taxes, too.

We'll improve our community colleges and vocational schools to expand job training opportunities for everyone.

We'll modernize school buildings and improve our public schools so every child gets a quality education.

We can't have a functioning economy without a functioning public transportation system. So we're going to fix it. My plan will prioritize a safe, reliable T, update our roads and bridges, and build a rail system that meets the needs of every region, not just Boston.

I want to treat the climate crisis as our greatest threat and our greatest opportunity. My plan puts us on a path to 100 percent clean electricity by 2030, and builds a Climate Corridor of jobs, manufacturing and innovation that stretches from New Bedford to the Berkshires.

And let me say this again – as long as I'm Governor, here in Massachusetts we will protect access to safe, legal abortion.

We have a lot of work to do. So let's win this election and deliver results for Massachusetts.

My team set up a page where you can watch our new ad and help us get it into living rooms across our state. I'd appreciate you taking a look.

Thank you,

Maura
