Despite our best efforts, our fundraising has slowed down significantly and we're now $21,750 behind where we need to be at this point in the month. If we can't make up for lost ground, we may have to restructure our campaign strategy and lose out on critical opportunities to grow our movement.
Our grassroots movement is the strongest resource we have to ensure Jamaal has the tools necessary to keep fighting for us in Congress. That's why we've set a mid-month goal to raise $21,750 to strengthen our digital, organizing, and outreach plans through the final two months of this election.
The end of September marks the final fundraising quarter before Election Day, and it's arguably one of the most important fundraising deadlines we'll face. So hitting each and every fundraising goal is absolutely necessary if we want to continue planning out a competitive and effective campaign strategy.
What's more, we're now less than 60 days away from Election Day. In these next two months, we're bound to see our Republican opponent use every tool at their disposal to stop our progressive movement. We've already seen how far the GOP will go to stop our movement so we need to be stronger, more united, and even more determined than ever before to win.
It's on us to prepare our movement to fight back to ensure that Jamaal can focus 100% of his time on making our voices heard in the halls of Congress. And the one way we can do that is by ensuring that our fundraising is where it needs to be, come Election Day.
