Good morning:

Thank you for your interest in the American Enterprise Institute and for participating in our events, subscribing to our newsletters, and following our work over the past year.

Will you consider making a tax-deductible year-end investment <[link removed]> in AEI?

Across policy areas, AEI scholars are applying the highest ideals of the American political tradition to the toughest problems our society confronts—free from partisan blinders and always with an eye to advancing the dignity and well-being of all people.  By supporting AEI, you
will be part of our efforts to expand opportunity for all Americans and preserve the free enterprise system for the next generation.

Why should you support AEI?  Here are six reasons:

- AEI scholars vigorously defend the principles and offer compelling ideas and arguments that promote free people and free markets, limited government, and America’s strong role in the world.

- Through their op-eds and media appearances, AEI scholars are unparalleled in their ability to influence the policy debates with ideas that will expand opportunity for every individual.

- No other think tank in America delivers more congressional testimony.  In the past year, our scholars have covered issues such as Veterans Affairs, graduate student loan programs, surprise medical billing, foreign investment in the United States, and America's Indo-Pacific
strategy.

- On college campuses, AEI is pushing back against the narrative that the goals of fairness, justice, and equality are achieved through identity politics and redistributionist policies.  In 2020, AEI scholars will reach thousands of students with substantive and compelling arguments for the free
enterprise system and America’s founding values.

- AEI’s Leadership Network is engaged with more than 800 community leaders to develop the practical solutions—grounded in vigorously researched, free enterprise ideas—to the problems facing their communities.

- AEI never has—and never will—accept government funding, instead choosing to rely on annual investments from a community of supporters who share our values and want to ensure that they are passed on to the next generation.  We hope you will stand with us this year.

Thank you for considering a year-end investment <[link removed]> in AEI.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.

All the best,
Jason
