When I married Andrew, I never thought politics would be in our future. And even when he told me he was running for president, I have to admit I was very skeptical of his chances.
But the last year has changed so much for our family. And as I’ve begun to join Andrew on the road, it’s been incredible to see how this movement has taken hold across the country. Traveling through Iowa last week was so inspiring -- and I know we can really win this thing!
Tonight, Andrew is going to walk onto the 6th Democratic debate stage. He’ll be one of only seven candidates to have qualified for each and every DNC debate so far -- and he’s the only person of color.
I’ve never been more proud.
You don’t have to be married to Andrew to share that pride. The truth is, you built this movement -- it was all of you who were inspired by what we can accomplish if we think a little harder.
