Friend,

With just 56 days to go until the midterms, we're ramping up our get-out-the-vote program. That means hosting more events, knocking more doors, coordinating even more volunteers, organizing more phone-banking, and sending out more merch.

All that takes people power, and we're entirely funded by grassroots teammates like you.

Right now, we need to raise $20,000 before Friday to ensure we have the resources we need to support our outreach efforts during these last crucial weeks before Election Day. Can you chip in to help?

With our country so divided, we need people like Dean who are willing to work together to find common ground. We're proud to be on the team that's working to heal our broken politics -- together, we can send a true leader of the people back to Washington, but we can't do it without you!

Onward,
The DeanTeam

Friend,

As you know, I am on a mission to repair our broken politics and restore Americans' faith in their government. This is no small task in such deeply polarized times, especially given the rhetoric and actions of the former president and his acolytes in Congress.

Still, despite what you might see on cable news programs and in social media echo chambers, the vast majority of Americans want to see their elected leaders pursue common ground for the common good. That's exactly what I've done in Congress, and that's exactly what I will continue to do, but I need your help to ensure our values have another term in Washington. Chip in to support our movement today:

As the Vice Chair of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus, I've helped bring people together to offer solutions to some of our nation's biggest challenges, including COVID-19, public safety, and infrastructure. In fact, we put together the framework for what became the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law -- along with a proposal that helped end the government shutdown in January of 2019.

As the proud representative of the most highly engaged district in the nation, I've convened a series of Common Ground workshops -- inspired by the work of an organization called Braver Angels -- bringing together equal numbers of "reds" and "blues" for facilitated conversations about how our personal experiences shape our views on public policy. I've left feeling more hopeful and committed to this work every single time.

Because of my commitment to seeking common ground and pursuing policies for the common good, I was recently ranked number one out of all 535 members of Congress (and all 50 governors!) by the Common Ground Committee on their Common Ground Scorecard. The nonpartisan Lugar Center has ranked me the 13th most bipartisan member of Congress. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has twice honored me with their Jefferson-Hamilton Award for Bipartisanship. I've also received the Bipartisan Policy Center's "Legislative Action Award" and was rated Minnesota's most effective lawmaker by the Center for Effective Lawmaking.

Seeking common ground does not mean surrendering your principles or values. I'm a proud Democrat, but I'm just as horrified by what's happening within today's Republican party as anyone. With the country being nearly as evenly divided as Congress, there is no way around the fact that in order to make real, lasting progress, we must find ways to work together -- and that's just what I intend to do so long as I have the honor to represent the people of Minnesota's Third District. If you're with me, make a contribution to our campaign today.

Thank you for your continued engagement in and support of this important mission.

-Dean
