President Biden will be in Michigan tomorrow to attend the Auto Show and I couldn’t be more thrilled. A few weeks ago, I invited the President to join me for one of Michigan’s biggest events because I know he’s a car guy and he knows I’m a car girl.

 

I have been working with my colleagues in Congress and President Biden to jumpstart an electric vehicle manufacturing boom in America, and it all starts in Michigan.

 

Michigan put the world on wheels, and now, we’re leading the country in clean energy and proving that Michigan’s manufacturing potential is limitless.

 

While we have so much work to do still, Michigan is on track to pave the way for semiconductor chip manufacturing, retooling auto plants to produce electric vehicles and their components, and so much more.

 

I have always been a strong supporter of Michigan’s manufacturing industry and the hard-working men and women who drive auto innovation. I will never stop fighting to bring more opportunities to our great state, and this week, we’re going to show the President just how strong Michigan’s manufacturing potential is.
