Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The busy fall season in Washington, D.C. is in full swing!  We are officially two weeks away from National Clean Energy Week (NCEW), September 26-30. As founder and chair of NCEW, I am particularly excited about this sixth annual celebration of clean energy and its future in America, and I am anticipating a week of valuable conversations held among clean energy advocates from all energy industries and political stripes.

I invite you to join the national clean energy conversation and register for the Policy Makers Symposium. Thanks to our generous sponsors, registration is 100% FREE for all attendees! This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with America’s clean energy experts—all from your laptop.

NCEW will host a robust group of influential thought leaders to speak at the flagship Policy Makers Symposium. Happening during the heart of NCEW, the three-day virtual conference brings together a bipartisan slate of policymakers, administration officials, business leaders, advocates, investors and non-profit leaders. You can register for FREE here.

This week, NCEW announced the addition of dozens of distinguished speakers to the Policy Makers Symposium lineup, including:

  • U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska)
  • U.S. Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.)
  • U.S. Rep. John Curtis (R-Utah)
  • U.S. Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-Ariz.)
  • U.S. Rep. Sean Casten (D-Ill.)
  • U.S. Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-N.D.)
  • U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter (R-Ga.)
  • U.S. Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.)
  • U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.)
  • U.S. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-Iowa)
  • U.S. Rep. Scott Peters (D-Calif.)
  • U.S. Rep. Paul Tonko (D-N.Y.)
  • U.S. Rep. Bruce Westerman (R-Ark.)
  • Sylvie Barcelo, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of International Relations and La Francophonie for the Government of Quebec
  • Judith D. Pryor, First Vice President and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at the U.S. Export-Import Bank
  • Trisha Miller, Senior Director for Industrial Emissions at The White House
  • Jigar Shah, Director of the Loan Programs Office at U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)
  • Jasjit Singh, Executive Director of SelectUSA
  • Maria Duaime Robinson, Director of the Grid Deployment Office at DOE
  • James L. Connaughton, Former Chair of the Council of Environmental Quality, 2001-2009
  • Katie McGinty, Former Chair of the Council of Environmental Quality, 1995-1998

Between now and NCEW, I have the distinguished honor to address attendees at Climate Week 2022 in New York on a panel hosted by Nexans. Nexans is a leader in providing a unique connectivity solution for the first offshore wind-powered charging station for support vessels. I’m looking forward to discussing how we can address climate change head-on through viable solutions such as increasing access to raw materials and prioritizing energy security, and how we can chart America’s path to energy independence. You can register for the panel discussion here.

I hope you join me at NCEW and at Climate Week as we recognize what an all-of-the-above clean energy future can bring: American energy independence, economic prosperity and a healthier climate.

All my best,

Heather Reams
CRES President
