Here are 4 quick facts you should know about Ilhan’s race in MN-05, team:

1. Ilhan’s opponents, Republican mega-donors, and conservative super PACs have already spent more than $4 million to try to unseat her this election cycle — and the spending will only ramp up in these final weeks.

2. Ilhan’s primary focus is on advocating for change in the halls of Congress and on the picket lines. She’s pushed for progress by passing 48 bills and amendments in the House and moving the needle on progressive issues like student debt cancellation, universal school meals, and Homes for All. And she’s stood on the front lines alongside workers demanding better conditions and pay as recently as this week as unionized Minnesota nurses begin the largest nursing strike in our country’s history.

3. She spends her time fighting for the people, not hosting closed-door fundraisers and reaching out to corporate lobbyists. That means Ilhan is counting on this grassroots team — never corporate PACs — to power our progressive movement and send her back to Congress.

4. Our average donation this month is just $15.30 — so we mean it when we say we need your support to fuel our critical organizing work, from knocking on doors across MN-05 to hosting get-out-the-vote events in this final stretch. That’s why we’re reaching out:

We’re only a few weeks out from our last quarterly fundraising deadline of the midterms, so we’ve set a mid-month goal of $20,000 to stay on track. Can you chip in $5, $15.30, or any amount to power our work for progress?
