Dear John,
If I wasn't enduring it first-hand, I'd think what's happening in Washington is a bad joke. This year I've watched Senate Democrats sprint to the
Left, embracing socialist policies like Medicare-for-All, the Green New Deal, and a selective wealth tax.
Unfortunately, it's not a bad joke, it's the frightening reality we're facing if we don't put a stop to it now.
The only way we'll be able to squash the Left's
socialist resurgence is by protecting our GOP majority and standing with critical conservative allies like my colleague Martha
McSally.
In the Senate, extremists like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have gone full tilt on socialism. They're singularly focused on eviscerating our
democratic system and replacing it with a socialist government with the power to dictate every facet of our lives.
Luckily, I'm not the only one who has a serious problem with Democrats' socialist sentiments.
Martha McSally may be new to the U.S. Senate,
but she's already made a name for herself as an advocate for pragmatic policies, and a major headache for the Senate's uncompromising
extremists.
Martha comes from a military background, so when she's faced with a problem, she looks for an immediate solution. She's applied that same
mentality to her efforts in the Senate, and boldly called out Senate socialists who refuse to meet her halfway.
Martha's mission to deliver real results and
her reputation for holding extremists accountable are a testament to her character, but they're also the very reasons Democrats want her
gone.
Right now, the Left only needs to flip four seats to turn the Senate blue and they believe the key to it all is defeating Martha McSally. Democrats
are already spending millions to distract her in the Senate and defeat her in Arizona.
We can't let that happen,
John.
This election will determine whether socialism is on the rise, or on the road to demise, and the only way to ensure it's the latter is by defending our majority and conservative Senate
allies, like my friend Martha McSally.
Sincerely,
Marco Rubio
