I want to explain why this week is so important for us.

After next Tuesday, September 20, our campaign is required to disclose our year-to-date fundraising data publicly for the first time since we officially started the general election.

With Scott Jensen drawing national coverage over his pledge to ban abortion without exceptions for rape or incest, our race is one of the most closely watched in the country. That means the moment our fundraising report is published, every political pundit you can think of will be combing through it, looking for signs of weakness.

To ensure we leave no doubt that we are ready to win on November 8, we’re pushing hard to reach a grassroots goal of $250,000. And with one week to go before our reporting deadline next Tuesday, it’s clear we need to pick up the pace.
