Hamilton was the first musical I ever saw. Which seems funny, because I love the theater! There is nothing like the magic of a live performance. But I always just assumed that musicals weren’t for me: until Hamilton.

I left the theater that night feeling inspired and transported. The lyrics were full of grand ideas about our country, our democracy, and what a dedicated group of people can achieve together.
