Dear John,

We have good news to share: so far in 2019, we’ve received more donations than any year before!  Thanks to our donors, ASAN can continue to grow and flourish. With your support, we’ve been able to introduce new programs to meet the needs of our community.  We are so thankful to all of our donors and supporters!

We asked our donors why they chose to give to ASAN this year.  Here’s what they had to say:

I am an autistic adult who struggled with self-love for a long time. This org gave me the ability to love myself and I wish the same for all autistics.

ASAN is consistently passionately rational; when I read ASAN's statements I often just say "that's perfect." Heartening in a world of bafflegab.

There are too many organizations out there that don’t have any autistic leaders. I choose to support an organization that actually represents me.

I donated to ASAN for my 2 autistic sons because they’re both amazing and deserve equality, accommodations, and acceptance.

We Autistic People can accomplish a lot alone but even more together!

Because of the generous support of our donors, we were able to:

Fight back against torture at the Judge Rotenberg
Center
through our #WeAreStillWaiting campaign

Push for equality in employment with
the #WorkWithUs campaign

Launch our proxy calling system, which allows people
with all kinds of disabilities to participate in our call-ins.

Hold our first ever Easy Read focus group where we asked ten editors with intellectual disabilities how to make our toolkits more cognitively accessible.

Release new toolkits on community living,
the federal budget, and the HCBS Settings Rule.

… and so much more!

Your support made all this possible. How much more can we achieve together? This year, please consider supporting us with an end-of-year donation, or starting a recurring donation that will help us all year long.  As one of our donors said, we accomplish more together. Join our fight for disability rights, and let’s make our voices heard!
