Jack, the man who engineered the takeover of the U.S. Supreme Court by far-right extremists now has an unprecedented amount of dark money at his disposal to upend the entire country.

The New York Times recently reported on a stunningly corrupt deal Leonard Leo, the mastermind and former leader of the Federalist Society, set up last year to obtain a $1.6 billion—billion—windfall for a new political group. We only know of the shady donation because of an insider tip.
No one should have an outsized say in our democracy due to the size of their wallet, and political spending should be transparent. Sunlight is the best disinfectant, and it's time to clean up our democracy. The DISCLOSE Act of 2021 would help restore transparency and accountability to our political system. Demand your U.S. senators support it today.

P.S. Read more about the DISCLOSE Act below.
Jack, a Republican funder recently gifted an organization led by right-wing operative Leonard Leo $1.6 billion, possibly the largest single political donation in U.S. history.
Leo is a former VP of the ultra-conservative Federalist Society who crusaded to end abortion, block progress on fighting climate change, and limit voting rights, among other things.

We only know about this $1.6 billion donation because of an insider tip-off to the New York Times. To add salt to the wound, the transaction was made "through an unusual series of transactions that appear to have avoided tax liabilities."
This further underscores the urgent need to pass the DISCLOSE Act (S.443). Wealthy special interests and big-money donors hold too much power, and they use political and financial loopholes to hide their spending on lobbying, elections, and judicial confirmation hearings.
When passed, the DISCLOSE Act would stop anonymous spending in our elections by requiring entities trying to influence our elections to disclose their major political donors. It would also increase transparency on political advertisements by requiring disclosure of major donors who underwrite advertisements supporting or attacking judicial nominees, and more.
Now that the Senate is back in session, we have an opportunity to ensure that special interests, corporations, billionaires, and foreign interests do not have outsized influence in our elections. Urge your U.S. senators to support the DISCLOSE Act today.
